Small Bore Connection Risk Management (SBC)
This work is an extension to finite element analysis with applying additional vibration detection to measure vibration levels along piping system. Most of the plant cannot avoid vibration in piping system that come from acoustic vibration (flow induced and pulsation vibration), problem on soft-foot of rotating equipment, under-sized pulsation dampener, operating of pump and machinery equipment, and inadequate support on piping system.
In general, we recommend this work to be carried out on piping connection under 2 inches. Breaking on these connection system could lead to loss of containment and undesired incident e.g. fire or explosion.
